Seeing with Eyes Closed: art and neuroscience in dialogue

Symposium, exhibition and publication organised by AoN, a platform for art and neuroscience, at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice, on the occasion of the 54th Venice Art Biennale.
Initiated by Alexander Abbushi, Ivana Franke and Ida Mommenejad, with installation by Ivana Franke. Curated by Elena Agudio and Anton Burdakov.

The project explored the visual experience of flowing images induced by stroboscopic light behind closed eyes, combining artistic and scientific approaches to examining the nature of perceptual reality.
