2015
Installation at Mercado 2 do Maio, Viseu, Portugal
Pavilion: Tarpaulin, metal, fabric 270 x 500 x 390 cm
Light installation: Slide projector, wood, paint 190 x 400 x 40 cm

Conceived in response to the architecture of the square designed by Alvaro Siza and to its past life as a market place, the intervention in the historical centre of Viseu consisted of a pavilion housing an interactive light installation. Borrowing from the visual language of cafe awnings, market stalls and fairground booths, points of departure included places of spectacle, strategies of diversion and intimacy in the public realm.
